Chug, chug, chug. The only noise heard when you bring out the Chateau Tour Des Gendres Pet Nat from Bergerac. A beautiful all natural French wine made from Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc, two grapes that bring a very bright and glugable feel to a bottle. This one however has just got a touch of funk to it, a little two step, something that makes it just a little more exciting than the others that have come before it.
Balanced fruits on the nose, a ‘fresh out the shower’ feel to it. A bright, slight sweetness, and a touch of acidity thats makes this a bottle one you simply couldn’t complain about.
This was originally a gift from Bodega boy Eoghan to his mother, and that man really loves his mother. That should say all you need to know about this French beauty.
